This guidance document seeks to explain, in simple language, what is meant by a process, how processes can interact within a system, and how the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) cycle can be used to manage those processes. Examples of quality management system processes are given as well as guidance on the implementation of the process approach in relation to ISO 9001 : 2015 requirements.
